The biggest driver in golf’s off-course growth and the primary catalyst for the sport’s evolution is Topgolf, a Dallas-based company whose facilities are part driving range, part arcade, part party room, part restaurant and bar.
Dallas-based golf giant Topgolf this week said it plans to break ground later this year on a new, 72,000-square-foot entertainment complex in San Jose’s Alviso district.
The Topgolf Crush Tee It Up competition is in full swing at the North Side stadium. Tee times are available June 8-10.
While Mount Laurel will get its Topgolf later this year, Atlantic City will get its own version of the interactive golf entertainment experience in a few weeks.
The Crush event gives a similar experience and serves as an example, on a different scale, about how Topgolf plans to become a part of the community.
