In a bid to engage fans at the BMW Championship Sept. 14-17 at Conway Farms Golf Club, outside Chicago, event organizers will unveil a pop-up driving range and entertainment complex where average Joes can bang balls alongside the pros—and even get a chance to compete with them.
Two years ago, Cannizzo launched Dare to Golf, an organization designed to help women change their careers and gain confidence through the game of golf.
Dallas-based Topgolf said this week it is “actively pursuing a location in the heart of Henrico County,” according to a press release.
Topgolf has taken the game of golf, put it in warp speed, and then added all the extras to make it strictly entertainment.
