TopGolf’s spirited hiring events will feature a variety of activities, including: one-on-one interviews; X-Factor-style panel interviews in which candidates will speak or perform for two minutes about a topic of their choice; “idea factory,” which tasks applicants to work in teams to plan a special event for Topgolf; relay races with serving trays; and more. Topgolf will provide a free meal for all participants.
“Topgolf’s fun approach to the hiring process helps put candidates at ease, and we make sure everyone has a good time,” said Topgolf Recruiter Nancy Haller. “Additionally, having applicants participate in several different interactive activities throughout the day helps us get to know them better than we otherwise would in a traditional interview setting.”
Available positions range from bay hosts and kitchen staff to greeters, bartenders and many more. Those hired from the recruiting events will begin a six-week training program in late March. The 65,000-square-foot Topgolf – soon to be the largest sports bar in Austin – will open late April.
